Commonly
refered to as The Gita, the Bhagavad Gita
is a converstaion between Lorda Krishna
and Arjuna just prior to the battle of Kurukshetra.
Lord Krishna seeing Arjuna's confusion and
moral dilemma on fighting his own kin, explains
with examples and analogies Arjuna's duties
as a warrior and prince. Lord Krishna elaborates
on a number of different Yogic and Vedantic
philosophies which has led to the Gita often
being described as a concise guide to Hindu
philosophy and also as a practical, self-contained
guide to life. We provide you with an opportunity
to learn the Bhagavad Gita from many prominent
Gurus who will give you a better perspective
to the teachings of Bhagavad Gita and thus
you can approach life in a more positive
mode. |

Upanishads are regarded as part
of the Vedas and as such form part of the Hindu scriptures.
They primarily discuss philosophy, meditation, and
the nature of God; they form the core spiritual thought
of Vedantic Hinduism. We sometimes live in a very
dark world unaware of what we are and our capacity
as a human being. These studies will lead us from
the darkness to light and bring us closer to our
supreme creator.

Kalaripayattu is an ancient martial
art practised in Kerala. Kalaripayattu incorporates
strikes, kicks, grappling, martial dance, and weaponry,
as well as healing techniques. Ancient kings used
kalari experts to settle their scores. To make them
fit for fighting and to undo the damage to their
body and limbs after relentless fights, an ayurvedic
treatment known as "kalari uzhichil" and other internal
medicines were administered on them. We have found
tremendous results for this kind of uzhichil for
people suffering from fractures or other bone and
joint problems. Here at Saukhyadhayini, we provide
training in Kalaripayattu and also administer the
Kalari healing methods. |
